Aerial view of Culcreuch Castle and its private loch

Culcreuch is a 1,600-acre Scottish Country Estate situated midway between the new Scottish City of Stirling, known world-wide as "Braveheart" country, and the world-famous Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

Culcreuch Estate Lodges are reached by half-mile long driveways through the Estate from the main road outside of the small village of Fintry.

The Estate comprises working farms, acres of woodland, craggy hillside and private lochs, and includes a"pinetum" with magnificent old trees, worth a visit themselves, plus, of course, the exclusive self-catering Lodges site.

Overlooking the larger of the private lochs and separated from it by beautifully manicured lawns is the centrepiece of Culcreuch Estate,14th century Culcreuch Castle, now a comfortable 3-star hotel, whose facilities are available to Lodge residents.

Fishing for Carp in the private loch is free to Culcreuch Estate Lodges Residents with permits available from Reception at the Castle.

Culcreuch Castle is very popular as a Scottish Wedding venue, which take place virtually every weekend, when the Castle and Estate are busiest.

Culcreuch Estate offers you a memorable stay in peaceful, unspoilt, Scottish countryside with 1,600 acres to explore and an authentic 14th century Castle for a neighbour.

We hope you will come and see us soon.
